Tessie Fontes

Born and raised in Hilo, Tessie Fontes began her real estate career in 2012 with Coldwell Banker Day-LUM Properties and has experience representing both buyers and sellers of a diverse range of properties on the Big Island of Hawaii.  She now works with Coldwell Banker Island Properties and also with the Hawaii Global Luxury Group and their luxury Hilo-side transactions.

Before embarking on her real estate career, Tessie worked her way through college while holding three jobs and took her first position in accounting with one of the Big Island's largest touring companies.  With a passion for numbers, she moved into real estate and today brings that same zest to every transaction.  

As a family readiness group (FRG) leader, Tessie has volunteered with Hawaii's Army National Guard assisting families with deployment information and guidance.  She has also worked with military veterans and their VA real estate transactions.

Tessie enjoys swimming and spending time with her kids at the state beach parks and also loves Yoga!  She is very familiar with the forest and valleys of the Big Island from her previous hunting experiences, and now enjoys walking the land while assisting her real estate clients.  Tessie is dedicated to her clients and to the success of their real estate transactions.
