Dining, Entertainment, and Shopping
Kohanaiki's restaurants — Konane and Beach Restaurant — are among the best in Hawaii. Konane is a sophisticated chop house and sushi bar situated on the top floor of the Clubhouse. The restaurant gets its name from an old Hawaiian checkers game. Konane serves coastal cuisine in an indoor or outdoor setting.
Every seat in Konane's Beach Restaurant offers breathtaking ocean views and relaxing trade winds. It features a coastal cuisine menu that changes daily to reflect the best and freshest ingredients available. Traditional breakfast and lunch fare emphasize the fresh and natural flavors of the island while giving everything on the plate an edge.
Things to Do
The Kohanaiki Golf Club, designed by John Rees and opened in 2014, is one of a kind. The course winds across more than 100 acres and features six oceanfront holes set along the 1.5 miles of coastline on this property. It is designed around historic sites, historic rock shrines, black volcano rock, and over 200 restored Anchialine ponds. The design's careful consideration of the local wildlife, vegetation, and water conservation earned this course registration with Audubon International Silver Signature Program.
Make time to visit Pine Trees Beach, which is also known as Kohanaiki Beach Park. The area is popular among surfers due to its consistent waves. The white sandy beach is also a great place to enjoy barbecue, relaxation, and scuba diving.
