Carl has a diverse background in technology, real estate and related business ventures. After receiving an Aerospace Engineering degree from the University of Colorado in 1987, he worked in the Washington DC area with NASA and U.S. Defense agencies. In the mid-1990’s, real estate interests led to the founding of a Colorado brokerage investing in residential & commercial properties, along with a BVI-based consulting group. Other ventures have included a rental mgmt. business, a historic Denver restaurant & bar, and an African safari travel company.
Since 2010, he has split time between Colorado and Kona, Hawaii, where he co-founded the Hawaii Global Luxury Group, a multi-faceted team specializing in the acquisition and sales of real estate on the Big Island of Hawaii. With this group, he primarily consults regarding residential and investment properties.
Carl and his wife Jenny have three children and recently welcomed their third granddaughter into the ‘ohana. Jenny, originally from Zimbabwe, and Carl enjoy all mountain & water sports and exploring roads less traveled. In Hawaii, they are also active with several foundations and organizations including the Kona Kat Cafe, a rescue cat operation founded by Jenny.
